Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s signature Under Armour sneaker, Project Rock Delta, sells out within 24 hours.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appears to have the Midas touch, as evidenced by his success with films including The Fate of the Furious, and now with sneakers — which might just be what Under Armour needs to stay afloat within the competitive sportswear industry. He’s teamed up with the brand for his first signature model in the UA Project Rock Delta, a bonafide training sneaker fit for the one and only motivator of the masses.
Upon release, the Project Rock Delta sold out within 24 hours. Under Armour issued a restock, but the sneakers were completely gone within hours once again. UA has now halted production of the footwear, making it an official collector’s item for those who were fortunate enough to snag a pair. Claiming to be the fastest-selling pair of sneakers for 2017, The Rock shared on Instagram that a new colorway for the Rock Delta is launching later this year.
Also included in the collection are SuperVent tees, tanks, shorts, and leggings all inspired by the Rock’s signature Bull tattoo. While the shoes retail for $140 USD, the apparel line retails from $35 to $90 USD.
