Head of Social and Digital

JONESWORKS, a strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency, is seeking a driven, creative, and highly organized Head of Social and Digital.

The Head of Social and Digital will be responsible for leading and evolving JONESWORKS’ digital team and service offerings. In this role, the Head of Social and Digital will lead strategic planning and execution oversight across leading consumer brand, sports and entertainment clients. Our ideal candidate has deep experience in content strategy and production across platforms, is an out-of-the-box thinker with a proven track record of creating engaging and innovative strategies for brands and talent. You are able to quickly ideate and mobilize execution of high-quality, strategic content in a fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive social strategy development for key clients to achieve their unique needs and business objectives, which may include driving meaningful engagement, increasing brand awareness, and generating significant audience growth for the client
  • Collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to develop compelling brand narratives and brand voice/ aesthetic
  • Lead team in developing cutting-edge and creative content that embodies the client’s brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Partners with clients and creatives to bring brand-enhancing work to market across priority social channels
  • Lead development of innovative, results-oriented influencer programs that compel consumers to action and drive business results
  • Establish and evolve best practices across influencer campaigns and teams; support digital skill building of teams; leverage successes to grow agency work
  • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring social media success, including setting KPIs
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and utilize appropriate tools to effectively track and measure success of activations, as well as inform strategic optimization recommendations in real time
  • Effectively package work to showcase JONESWORKS’ impact against client objectives, helping clients to merchandise our value to key stakeholders
  • Cultivate and maintain solid relationships with platform partners, such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google/YouTube, and more
  • Stay current on audiences, cultural trends, social media behaviors, platform best practices and emerging platforms
  • Manage a team of subject matter experts to deliver on clients’ critical success factors
  • Work closely with agency leadership to manage team resources and position team for growth
  • Develop accurate, profitable scopes of work and effectively manage budgets


  • BA or equivalent/related background
  • At least 12-15 years in social/influencer marketing experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment; able to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadline
  • Extremely organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an acute attention to detail
  • Must have a high degree of motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment

Salary: 150-180K
