Founded in 1853, Levi’s has long been an icon of Americana culture. People from all walks of life have worn the brand’s denim jeans and jackets. To mark the 50th anniversary of its iconic Trucker jacket, Levi’s and The Tot have collaborated on a limited edition collection of baby and kids denim jackets.
With pop art patches, hand-drawn art and quotes like, “Come Together” and, “Love and Levi’s,” these jackets are one-of-a-kind works of art that represent Levi’s legacy. Every Levi’s jacket available from The Tot is unique and the foundation for the next generation of Levi’s lovers.
The Levi’s and The Tot collaboration also includes an Artist Edition. The Tot Co-Founder, Nasiba Adilova, chose the digital multimedia artist, Alex Israel, to create twenty Levi’s jackets. Known for exploring pop art, the cult of celebrity and the realities of Hollywood, Israel created and produced smiling avocado chenille patches on the back of twenty jackets. Each Levi’s Alex Israel jacket is hand-signed by the artist, includes the edition number and retails for $1,000.
100% of the proceeds from the Artist Edition jackets goes toward TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefiting amfAR’s TREAT Asia Pediatric Program, as well as the Dallas Museum of Art, which offers early childhood programming year-round.
“I love Nasiba and Levi’s. I love Two x Two and I love avocados, so everything came together perfectly,” he said.
